Howe, a biological male, who is also known as “Rylea Autumn,” uses the pronouns “they/them” and “she/her.”

Howe pleaded guilty to civil disorder. Howe could face up to five years in prison and a fine up to $250,000. Howe’s sentencing is scheduled for October 4th.

Howe and eight others were arrested on Sept. 2nd, 2020, by Rochester Police at a BLM/Antifa riot outside the Public Safety Building. Several dozen gathered outside the building to protest the police killing of Daniel Prude. The complaint, filed by an FBI agent, stated that Howe shook the metal barricade outside the building and encouraged the crowd to commit violent acts.

According to the complaint, Howe wrapped himself around a street sign in an attempt to resist arrest and kicked officers.

Howe wrote a number of extreme posts throughout September, which resulted in the attention of authorities.

On Sept. 8, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office alerted federal authorities to posts from Howe. The posts included extreme Antifa beliefs and included pictures of himself in black bloc.

Howe’s Twitter account consists of posts identifying himself with Antifa and expressing his support for communism. Posts also include his involvement in far-left activism in the Rochester area, which was a hotspot for riots during the summer and fall of 2020.

The complaint stated that Howe had stated on Facebook, “Burn this sh— to the f—ng ground,” in response to the news regarding the charges police officers would face regarding the killing of Breonna Taylor.

A day later, Howe posted instructions on how to make a Molotov cocktail and how to throw them at police officers.

“Good morning to everyone ready to burn this whole f—ing country to the ground!” posted Howe a day later.

Howe allegedly admitted to writing the posts during an interview with an FBI agent.
