In the last 24 hours, President Trump has picked up two important endorsements with only two weeks to go until the Presidential election. Many were shocked when rapper Curtis Jackson “50 Cent” came out in support of President Trump.
“Yeah, I don’t want to be 20 Cent. 62% is a very, very, bad idea. I don’t like it!

Another day and another endorsement. This time coming from Maurice Davis, Vice-President of the Flint, Michigan City Council. In a recent interview with Newsmax TV, Mr. Davis went into detail on why he supports President Trump and his policies. Maurice said one of the things that really impressed him was when President Trump came to Flint during the water crisis.
“He’s his own man, he’s not bought by nobody”
Maurice Davis
Many election years, politicians go into into inner city areas, and then are never seen or heard from again. This leaves people with a bad taste in their mouths. Maurice spoke about previous politicians and President Trump’s famous pitch to the Black community, “What the hell do you have to lose?”
“Mr. Trump has given us a lot of hope”
Maurice Davis

A big point that Maurice makes throughout the entire interview is thinking for yourself, and not voting a certain way because everyone expects you to. He says, “A lot of people (are) scared because of the ridicule for supporting President Trump.” In my opinion, this sentiment is felt across the racial spectrum as some people are scared to voice their support.
“The man ain’t racist in no kind of way”
Maurice Davis
Mr. Davis and 50 Cent have been added to a growing list of prominent African Americans voicing their support for the President. Democrats have controlled the inner cities, in particular Flint, for decades. More and more people are having their eyes opened to the impact of their state and local governments during the lockdowns.
“Why vote for people who ain’t going to do nothing for us?”
Maurice Davis
It’s hard for Biden to make his argument that he is a “change” candidate after 47 years in government. Many are starting to wake up to the fact that unless you vote differently, nothing will change.
