It should come as no surprise to any of us that this would be the new low for leftists in Hollywood and in the media. It was expected by most of us that people who disagreed with Rush Limbaugh politically would dance over his grave and praise the fact that he is dead.

Shortly after the news of Rush’s death broke, leftists in Hollywood wasted no time popping the champagne. Ignoring any sense of common decency, these “stars” piled on with nasty insults on Twitter, including from actress Amber Tamblyn, who wished Rush Limbaugh to “RIP” – “Rot In Purgatory,” and her husband, actor David Cross, declared that “cancer killed the cancer.”

The left has always accused people on the right of being “hateful bigots” but the same standard doesn’t apply to them when they mock people on the right after they die.

Other Hollywood elites that joined in on the hate parade celebrated his death and showing no signs of remorse included, Mark Hamill, John Cusack, Marc Maron, Larry Charles, and Star Trek veteran George Takei.

“You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.”- Bette Davis

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."- my mom#RushLimbaugh

John Cusack tweeted besides Rupert Murdoch, “there has been no more destructive a practitioner of the big lie for profit in U.S. history.”

Never speak ill of the dead – the poet tell us – but the truth demands the recognition of some facts – besides Murdock – there has been no more destructive a practitioner of the big lie for profit in US history – https://t.co/QPW9fJguWc

Rosanna Arquette tweeted, “It’s a real shame when someone wasted their lives spewing hate and lies.”

It’s a real shame when someone wasted their lives spewing hate and lies .what Lonely sad and empty place it must be at the end.

Hellboy and Sons of Anarchy actor Rob Perlman extended his “deepest sympathies to the poor devil who will no doubt have to spend the rest of eternity with Rush Limbaugh.”

#RushLimbaugh has gone to his reward. Bet it’s hot.

He was a horrible person. 👇👇 https://t.co/K3jWccWqNK

Honestly Rush would’ve loved all the hate-tweeting about him today. Hate was the BRAND.

— billy eichner (@billyeichner) February 17, 2021

I guess I'm grateful that he lived long enough to see Trump defeated by Biden.

— George Takei (@GeorgeTakei) February 17, 2021

Borat director Larry Charles called him “another white man propagating hate and lies.”

Netflix’s Grace & Frankie actor Ethan Embry suggested that Limbaugh appealed to white supremacists.

If you need a lesson on how influential white supremacy is in America, watch the response of Rush’s death.

— Ethan Embry (@EmbryEthan) February 17, 2021

Saving Private Ryan actor Adam Goldberg joked that Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) tweet praising the late radio host was “bar far the lowest” thing he’s read about the late radio host.

Of all the inappropriate things I’ve read about Rush Limbaugh today, this is by far the lowest! https://t.co/soGre4heI5

— OGAG (@TheAdamGoldberg) February 17, 2021

And if all that wasn’t bad enough, the mainstream media published stories about Limbaugh’s death calling him the “bigoted king of talk radio”, and accusing him of generating controversy “for hateful commentary on gender and race.”

The HuffPost announced Limbaugh’s passing with the glaring headline, “Rush Limbaugh, Bigoted King of Talk Radio, Dies at 70.” The controversial article described Limbaugh as “a talk radio pioneer who saturated America’s airwaves with cruel bigotries, lies and conspiracy theories for over three decades.”

CNN unsurprisingly wasted no time attacking Limbaugh, stating that “he often waded into conspiratorial waters and generated controversy for hateful commentary on gender and race” in its obituary:

Using his sizable platform, Limbaugh advanced conservative ideas, though he often waded into conspiratorial waters and generated controversy for hateful commentary on gender and race. https://t.co/JJGEMRkUCB

CNBC joined the party, describing Limbaugh as both “incendiary” and “acerbic” and accusing him of basing “prominent Black people,” specifically.

“Rush Limbaugh was the self-proclaimed ‘Doctor of Democracy; who led the conservative media revolution by bashing ‘feminazis,’ ‘environmentalist wackos,’ ‘commie libs’ and prominent Black people – especially former President Barack Obama.”

Former President Donald Trump awarded Limbaugh with the Presidential Medal of Freedom during his 2020 State of the Union speech, thanking the conservative icon for his “decades of tireless devotion to our country.”
