In a recent music video created by Blue’s Clues, drag queen Nina West leads a sing-along pride parade with gay, transgender, and non-binary animals.
The episode is designed to celebrate “Pride Month,” which will feature songs with progressive imagery like families with two mothers.
The animated drag queen, signing to the tune of “The Ants Go Marching,” praises gay, lesbian, pansexual, transgender, non-binary, and bisexual parents to children. The drag queen is holding a microphone with a “black power” fist symbol.
The parade showcases different types of couples, including same-sex couples. Other imagery featured include “aromantic” flags, which means individuals with little or no romantic attraction to others, “intersex” flags, the “pansexual” flag, and the “genderqueer” flag.
“This family has two mommies. They love each other so proudly and they all go marching in… the… big parade,” says the drag queen.
