Donald Trump tells supporters not to give money to RINOS

Former President Donald Trump sent cease-and-desist letters to three major Republican organizations in order to stop them from using his name in order to raise funds for establishment candidates, according to Politico.

Trump sent letters to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), and the Republican National Committee (RNC) saying that they must stop using his name to raise money.

The RNC declined to stop using his name after receiving the letter.

“Like President Trump, the NRC remains focused on electing Republican candidates and advancing conservative policies,” responded the RNC. “The RNC, of course, has every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment political speech, and it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals.”

A few hours after this response, Trump sent an email to his supporters telling them to send money to his political action committee (PAC), Save America PAC, instead of organizations that will support establishment Republicans.

“No more money for RINOS. They do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base—they will never lead us to Greatness,” said Trump. “We will bring it all back stronger than ever before.”

Trump also told attendees of CPAC that they should give to his PAC rather than other well-known Republican PAC’s.

These letters come after NRSC Chairman Rick Scott insists there is not a rift in the Republican Party.

Trump plans of campaigning against Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, who was one of seven Republican senators to vote for Trump’s conviction during the impeachment trials.

“I will not be endorsing, under any circumstances, the failed candidate from the great State of Alaska, Lisa Murkowski,” said Trump “She represents her state badly and her country even worse. I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be – in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.”

Trump also plans on targeting Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
