White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki informed reporters that even if you do receive the COVID-19 vaccination, you must continue to social distance and wear a mask during the daily White House press briefing today.
“Even after you’re vaccinated, social distancing and wearing masks will be essential,” Psaki said. “We’ll need to continue to communicate about that through health and medical experts.”
The comment drew criticism from many conservative political pundits.
The comment comes after reports emerged that President Joe Biden was considering mailing masks directly to the American people, according to NBC News. No formal approval has been given to the president.
Biden has asked Americans to wear masks for the first 100 days of his presidency.
