Earlier today, Democrat Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that she would honor Dr. Anthony Fauci’s 80th birthday by naming Thursday “Dr. Anthony S. Fauci Day.”
Most Americans know Thursday, which is December 24, as Christmas Eve, a holiday celebrated by millions of people across the country.
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson shredded Bower’s decision to do this by explaining the difference between the religious and the secular in the country. He asserts that even people who claim to not be religious do worship something.
“Everyone in this country has a religion,” Carlson said. “The question is whether you worship God or yourself. Those are America’s two competing faiths.”
Carlson called Washington, D.C. the “capital of the latter sect.” He asserts that D.C. is full of “spiritual narcissism.” Ultimately, human power is worshipped as a deity. And according to Carlson, this religious group gained a new saint today.
“The latest holy man to be beatified there is a diminutive federal bureaucrat called Tony Fauci,” Carlson said. “Fauci is the high priest of the COVID cult. A paper mask is his sacred garment. Cable television is his pulpit. The people of Washington bow before Father Fauci.”
Carlson is showcasing how many people in the country will follow Fauci’s every word and command. Whatever Fauci says, the people will do. And don’t ever think about asking questions. That would be sacrilegious.
“We should tell you by the way that per St. Tony’s commandments, each one of the people you just saw at the end went back to their apartments alone and spent the night watching Netflix with their cats and eating Ben & Jerry’s in solitude. Because their’s is a monkish religion.”
